A very symbolic price (1,5€) for a super interesting visit and explanation about the vulcanic activity and the foundations of Azores. I totally recommend!

If you are interested to know what are you looking at when you see the main S. Miguel (and Azores) landscapes, in terms of geology, this is the very first place to visit. It will be worth to wait for a tour in this museum...More

The scientist-guides here are excellent, explaining clearly and enthusiastically about the volcanoes that formed the islands and about the evolution of the planet.
