We stumbled upon the gardens almost by accident - it's a beautiful, quiet spot to spend an hour surprisingly close to the town centre. It's easy enough to find cover if there's a shower, and it's worth visiting for the frog pond alone!

Perfect way to spend a few quiet hours. Able to walk from the main town area and well worth the entrance fee. Quite shaded for a sunny day. Well laid out and maintained.

Magnificent botanical garden not far from centre. One of the highlights of the city. Will take you around 45 minutes to visit. Clear labelling on many of the trees and plants.
