The gates were closed when we travelled to Belém to see the park on Christmas 26th. I didn't find any information from their website about the construction which would have been nice. So before we left we just peeked through the park bushies and found out Jardim Botanico Tropical amazing! :D…

Very nice park to visit for reposant moments, with a lot of palms and exotic plants, and also annimals, a little lake, a real pleasure for familys with kids.

Even though i visited these gardens during off season in which flowers no longer bloom, I thoroughly appreciated the gardens! The care in which these gardens receive is impressive. The shrubs are groomed daily in various shapes and forms and are simply beautiful! There are beautiful fountains and historical architectural steps that add to the beauty of these gardens. Very enjoyable and relaxing gardens with ample benches to sit on and enjoy the surroundings. I can only imagine how impressive and eye pleasing the gardens are when everything is in full bloom.
