Lying at the foot of the Sintra hills and facing the Atlantic, this superb beach is not only ideal for wind surfing but also board surfing due to the large breakers.

We cycled from cascais - recommend it's really beautiful Beach is lovely however no café or bar to have a drink at the beach. Maybe as it's out of tourist season?!

Best way to visit this great beach is to cycle along the stunning coast on the bicycle route. Bikes can be hired very cheaply at different venues in Cascais or at the Casa de Guia complex on the coast. It is approximately a 7k cycle...More

I rent a bicycle for 5 EUR per 2 hours, then had a 10 km trip to Gincho beach and it's really worth doing cause the road is close to the ocean and the air smells of pine trees and salty ocean. You'd enjoy the...More

Guincho Beach is a beautiful beach located Cascais and Sintra. The lowlights of the beach are also its highlights: the wind and the waves. This is a surf and windsurf paradise.
