Cascais is one of the most beautiful cities in Portugal and this place cannot be different, just in front of the beach with delicious restaurants, stores, and entertainment. Worth the visit.

With almost every angle looking out to the majestic infinite feeling and beauty of the Atlantic Ocean this corner of Cascais has many hidden treasures not least the walks, 2nd hand book shop (clue: go inside), places to snack or eat full blown meals, quaint shops and faces a small yet brilliant Park, cultural center, Museum, Marina and Cultural Center.

Cascais offers a great blend of local character and services. Many restaurants, shops, bars, beaches, museums and beaches offer a great holiday. Lisbon is 30 misn away.

There are a few artisan places but was deserted when we attended. Quite pretty and well maintained but really not a reason to visit.

It's an old citadel from more warlike days. It's been repurposed as a tourist attraction. Worth looking at. Beautiful view of Cascais Bay from here with the fishing boats and stuff.

The town has lots of shops and restaurants but the small beach area is very pretty too. Visited in summer so obviously the warm and sunny weather helps. Lots of nice little streets to wander around. We were driving and were able to find pay and display spaces in some of the small streets. The car parks near the fort... More
