Nice sandy beach right in the centre of Estoril, perfect for the kids as well. It is well maintained with tropical style umbrellas. The town with ts restaurants is across the street. There is also a great walk from here to the centre of Cascais along the seafrot.

A well organize and with a lot of structure, this beach its one of the best of this side of Portugal. There are a lot of facilities available, plenty of restaurants, a large splendid beach, a path for runners and bikes and even a direct access to the train station. A perfect combination. Even at night its a great place... More

Great beach with glorious coastal view. Hot bed for wind surfers and can get breezy to say the least however the breeze does provide respite from the roasting Portuguese sun. Can be good fun beach or nice relaxing beach you choose your spot. Plenty of food and drinks available within few hundred metres all in all well worth a day... More

I visited the Tamariz beach with my wife and Children in August. I found it to be an attractive place, very clean, and with restaurants and cafes near by. Sea water quite chilly, will take a while to acclimatise. My 2 children really enjoyed it, and we all found it quite peaceful. If you are like me, and can't sit... More

Estoril and Caiscais have really beautiful beaches all the way along the promenade. You can walk from Estoril to Caiscais in 20 minutes and enjoy the scenery along the way.

Beautifully maintained beach and promenade. Great for watching all the locals doing their daily excercise and the surfers in the sea. I wouldn't recommend swimming here though, as the waves were very large and the beach dropped down quite steeply which made the water deep as soon as you waded in
