Qualityfood but slow

We were with a large group. Drinks came in quick, appetizers came less quick and mains took long. Food was excellent but time between dishes is too long.

There are additional unforgetable courses in the menu which I dare not reveal, meant to be much more stirring than expected. And the ambient music and the beautiful photography help to feel like diving into Lisbon skyline....... and y hen everything is brought together at the end in a flash of revelation that is spectacularly underwhelming. Enjoy!!!!

Amazing place, perfect for a romantic dinner. Japanese food, excellent quality and a nice atmosphere. Good wine and a great food. Not to miss @ bairro alto.

Silk is a stunning bar and restaurant. The views are absolutely breath-taking, but more than that, the ambiance, dishes, music and service were impeccable as well. If you are in Lisbon for business or fun, then Silk is a total Must to enjoy a sophisticated yet relaxing evening out.

We were a group of 10 colleagues and had a wonderfull night. We came in at about 22.00 hrs and had perfect sushi (some of my colleagues said it was the best they ever had). Our host was very quick, nice and nothing was too much. We had an absolute briljant night! The club itself is modern/chique. The view can't... More

Luxury club serving sushi in the evening - we expected that it will get busier, but it for a friday eve it was dissappointingly quiet. One big group with 10 girls from UK for a hen's night, but for the rest just a handful of people. Don't go here for the sushi experience, and bring your creditcard as the cocktails... More

The restaurant/ club looks really nice. Great design. Big windows with a great view. The seats are not comfortable at all though.. I have long legs and was wearing high heels. Therefore I was quit uncomfortable at the low diner table with big chairs. I putted of my heels to sit more relaxed. You can only eat inside, not at... More

Went there for dinner and had a horrible experience. Sushi was not fresh. Staff were rude and pretentious. Very expensive for the quality of fish and overall experience. There are MANY other establishments with far better views, food and service in Lisbon. Don't go to this one!

The Stunning views from this rooftop were amazing. Great cocktails and lovely vibe. This was a flying visit to Lisbon with friends. Will definitely go back. Try the restaurant next time.

Thank you for taking the time to review Silk though unfortunately you ran out of steam and only wrote the many great aspects of your experience. The food is...? Everything was nice, impressive and beautiful yet you gave it a poor review. Odd. More

Staying in Chiado & Carmo

Neighbourhood Profile
Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
