A must to visit in Lisbon, not only the shopping district, but also a good experience to relax and have a cafe and egg tart and watch the people passing by. Try to forget your day to day rush and simply enjoy life like most...More

The Alfama is the history, this is the heart of Lisbon. Everything happens here. Seems once to walk under the arch you are transported. Shops everywhere, restaurants, coffee, Royal Palace used to be here before the 1755 earthquake. Huge statue of the King here.

No place shows Lisbon better than the Praca Do Comercio. Among the vast array of European cities, Lisbon is among the most walkable.

Unfortunately the part of the surrounding buildings were under renovation but this does not harm the majesty of this beautiful waterfront square. It is really nice. Be sure to spend some time in a cafe and watch the whole scene.

Large and featureless square only of interest because where king was killed in 1908. There isn't even a marker to say where they'd stopped

Breathtaking seaside main square. You can take a look at a couple of interesting historic features. There are a few bars around it, if you wish to take a break. There are also several touristy shops along the road. Be careful of peddlers.

One of the main meeting points in Lisbon down by the river with a good selection of places to eat and shops around the square.

The commercial plaza is very large. It has a large statue in the center and many taxis. There is a Visitors Bureau and wine center . Most shops are open 7 days a week. Check the visitors map.

This square it is very big, close to the river. Ask to police, or any Lisbon person.
