If you like Asian Art, take a few hours and go to the Museu do Oriente. It is a small museum, but almost everything in it is a real gem. The snuff bottle collection is one of the best I've seen in the world, and is worth a slow, leisurely look.

Not sure if this will really please everyone. The collection is a bit erratic - of course it's Portugal-centric, with lots of space for Timor-Leste, India and China and almost nothing about the rest of Asia. Decent explanations of the displays, it's also very English-friendly.…

I went with a friend and we took the combination ticket that involves a visit and a lunch. This turned out to be an excellent idea, since you can visit, lunch, and then carry on visiting.
