Definitely worth a visit for an overall panoramic view. All lisbon is full of lovely places and history and this place is no different. Very nice sunset if you're looking for something like it

Potentially a beautiful view, but in October you will be looking through a wire fence. Poor planning on the city's part. Go up Santa Justa elevator instead and have unobstructed views.

despite the works that had been done recently where very high fences were implemented in this place, views remain incredible, and this is one of the TOP spots is Lisbon

This was one of the highlights of my trip in Lisbon. A nice (steep) walk up next to the tram, and you are blessed with scenic views looking over a large part of the city. There are gardens below, shaded seating areas as well as...More

After getting off the Gloria funicular, the park is right next door. The view is amazing, but there was renovation work being done on the terrace closest to the railing so your hilltop view of the city is somewhat further back. No matter, it is...More

On the satellite map this looks like it's right next to the Restauradores Metro. It is, but straight up a very steep street. There is a yellow tram that makes the ascent/descent but I was never willing to wait for it. Lisbon is a very...More

At the moment the area is being restored so there is no access to the viewing point. The top square is accessible but the view is blocked by cranes and it is very dusty and noisy. Best to give this a miss at least for...More

Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally,
"squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers
plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can
stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its
streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and
viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the
famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa,
having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used
