Costa de Caparica is really beautiful beach with a lot of restaurants and cafes. You can choose sport activities or chill out in one of numerous bungalow and spent wonderful day on the beach.

Beautiful sandy beach, goes on for miles. Lots of man made benches to sit down and admire the view. Great time to watch the surfers attempt the waves. You're able to walk along the pier (break water) till the tide comes in. Warm this time of year - October, reached 25°.

All the beachs around Costa da Caparica are really beautiful but the land is so overexplored that ugly buildings accumulate nearby destroying the potential of the place. Streets are narrow, buildings have no design, good hotels are missing. In the end one prefers other places to enjoy the beach

I really recommend this place. People are very kind and helpful. A beautiful landscape and a lot of beautiful points to see. Perfect place for surfing even if you can't surf you can find Surf School or you can just chill on the beach!! Lovely fresh food straight from Sea. If you like to cook you can buy fresh sardines... Costa da Caparica has lots of ocean and sand. Water is warm. At some beaches one can occasionally find fishermen at work and thousands of seagulls helping them. And dozens of spectatiors too!

Visited after catching ferry from Belem to Trafaria. For someone who stays in Cascais this resort is not for me. Other than what looked like a superb beach this town had nothing going for it for me in terms of buildings or places of beauty. I would not go back in a hurry. I will stick with the beauty of... If you want a nice beach then yes the sand and water is fine, but I'd steer clear of this tacky place and head a few minutes south to Fonte de Telha or nearby. Costa was a shock and complete disappointment to me!

We were there in 22 September so the beach was almost empty. Still very impressive, it is so big you can not see the end. Worth a visit, was very relaxing.

Wonderful place, is full of surfers everyday of the Spring , summer and Autumn I have visited this quaint town, and I never fail to love watching them surf. Loads of trainers to learn with of you fancy a try , €20 starting price. It is approx 30 mins bus/ferry time to Lisbon, and has great transport costs and schedules.... More
