    Great market
So good we ended up going back a few times during our trip! It definitely does get busy after 7/8 pm, but we never had any issues with a long wait time or not being able to find a spot. It was great to go on a Saturday because there were other vendors set up outside so you can do some shopping too. Would definitely recommend coming here to check out at least one of the many places they had to eat/drink

    Great All in 1 shop!
Tons of great quality restaurants and a lot of tourists from all around tend to flock here. Be prepared to pay a premium price for some food here though. Not a ridiculous amount, but a couple euro's which probably goes towards the space and this is only a few restaurants, some are not horribly high priced.

    What a find
Wow what a find. Fab food from the 40ish venders. So hard to choose which one to use. Something for everyone. Gets very busy but we always found a seat before a buzzer vibrated to collect food. Ate at Dos Melhores Bifes at counter. Watched the chefs working in perfect harmony as we ate the most beautiful filet steak. I could eat there every day and never have the same meal twice.

    Crowded
There are lots of good options for local delicacies but the lines are super long. We waited 45 minutes just to buy half a dozen croquettes. Additionally, finding a place to sit is nearly impossible, We ended up at a table by the trash cans. People find a place, spread out and squat there for an hour or longer.

    Busy but good vibes!
We had a nice little evening here. Don’t get me wrong it was busy, we arrived around 8pm & it was tricky trying to get a seat, but we got two after looking for 5 mins, personally I felt it was enjoyable & the food we got was delish! We would recommend the chicken satay & brisket bun from the Asian place, the traditional Portuguese sandwich & the croquettes. We also thought the donut place & the traditional pastries place was tasty too. We would have liked to see the traditional market also, this wasn’t opened when we got there. All in all I’d recommend.

    A very busy place!
To be honest it was too busy and noisy for me but interesting to see. Goodness knows how you get 2 seats together unless you go for breakfast, when it is calmer. A huge choice of food- not the best of prices but a real experience if you are younger!!!

    So much fun!
This is a food court on steroids, offering a fun atmosphere with food, wine and beer from all over the globe. We went on our first night there and returned once more before leaving. As if people watching and the food were not enough, there was live music and dancing. It can be hard to find seats depending on when you go. Our first time there was about 8 pm and it took us about 10 minutes but when we returned on a late afternoon just before the end of the workday for a pizza snack (Lisboa is big on pizza and Zero Zero was pretty great) seats were plentiful. As it got later it got busier. We enjoyed codfish cakes from Miguel Castro e Silva, but the big winner was the mussel dish from Vincent Farges. I am a mussel fanatic and I have to say this was the best mussel dish I've ever had. There is also a great little gift shop with affordable bringbacks. It's a definite stop.

    Brilliant and bustling!
This is such a great conversion of the original market space! I would defy anyone not to find something good to eat here, as there is a huge variety of different savoury cuisines as well as sweet treats and drinks! Do walk around first as you might miss that special stall that catches your eye otherwise. We opted for traditional Portuguese in the end, from Chef Marlene Vieira. My husband had the pork belly dish of the day, which came with potatoes and onions; I had the bacalhau (cod) on a chick pea mousse with crumbled corn bread topping. Both were very good indeed and great value for the quality of food. Part of the experience here is definitely the huge communal tables where you eat. We didn’t find it too hard to find two spaces at lunchtime in late March, and my husband had a great conversation with the gentleman sitting next to him!

Great idea for finding the best of foods
This is such a vibrant, fun and lovely experience and if you like food, an absolute must! The original parts of the traditional fish and fruit & veg market are still preserved, and the one part of the building still holds these daily markets. Time Out in contrast is modern and has turned the market-place into a completely different concept. From local cuisine to sushi, from hot-dogs to cakes there really is something for everyone. It’s not cheap though and it gets rammed, but be aware most outlets don’t start serving food until 11.30, so it is hard to find a quiet time unless you just opt for cake and coffee, in which case 10am is quiet.

    Worth your TIME
I did not even know about the Time Out Market in Lisbon, until a friend of ours took us there. My advice, go there on an empty stomach and be prepared to taste the best of the best. It is like a giant food mall where all of the best restaurants in town have set up small booths serving their food. I suggest trying a little of everything until you run out of room. Enjoy!

We have heard of time out market before so we had to check out the good food selection and great atmosphere. You do have to go with an open mind and patience as it can be very busy so finding seats can take time.
There is a good selection of drinks, bars and dessert places as well as different food options from around the world. It works out pricey for what I think really is a street-food place. Having said that the quality of the food was great and apart from one place where the card machine didn't work we had a good experience. The wine bar had a great range of wines and the sushi selection was delicious.

Amazing place and fantastic food. Can definitely recommend the prawn & Bean stew from Susana Felicidade. Such a great selection of food stalls. Would recommend to arrive by 11:30 to secure a seat as it gets very busy very quickly! Amazing atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit, even if you don't buy anything.

Heard about this place from a local while in Lisbon and ended up going here twice on two separate occasions. There so many options and Time Out is usually bustling with activity and people. There is around 25-30 different food stalls, including deserts, wine bars, beer bars and several cocktail bars, that make excellent cocktails. I would recommend popping in here if your in Lisbon at least once and if you’re in a group people can order many different types of cuisine, from Asian, Portuguese, burgers and vegan/vegetarian. Definitely recommend for a visit if you are in Lisbon and get the chance!

We spent 3 hours here . Tasting as much food as we could that we wouldn’t normally get at home . Everything we had was spectacular. From octopus hotdogs to prawn brioche burgers and Portuguese tarts . Beautifully done . There’s a great buzz to this place , full of life and people watching if you like that kind of thing . I was expecting it to be over priced and commercialised but was pleasantly surprised . Well worth a trip here if your in Lisbon

We came here in 2020 pre-Covid and it was something different but sadly, 4 years on, it seems to have lost some of its best outlets and turned itself into an over-priced tourist trap. Lots of other, far more reasonable, places to eat in Lisbon so we won't be rushing back.
