A train station is a train station...I don't know what can you expect to be so amazing here. It's big, it has an old impressive façade, a modern and functional interior but that's all.I don't see any reason to get here if you don't need...More

I did not actually realise this was a train station the first time I walked passed it until the tourist person in the kiosk in Rossio Square pointed it out as the building from where you caught the train to Sintra. Apparently it is a...More

A very nice station from the outside, with a neo-Manueline façade which reminds other monuments of Lisbon (mainly Belem monastery). The station is clean and nice and it is in a good area. So no worries if you arrive by night

As central train stations go it is a pleasant visit, however nothing special. It is a very small station, has place for baggage storage inside and a few small shops. Easy to navigate and plenty of self service machines (available in multiple languages)

The Rossio is very easy to get in and out of and is the main station to get to Sintra. That being said, the building is not remarkable in any way and is not worth visiting unless you're jumping on a train.

We boarded the early train to Sintra. Glad we got there early as the train filled up fast. Made it in about 40 mins. With quite a few stops on the way. The personnel, although I know get bombarded could use a smile or two.

The spectacular exterior hides a dull, but functional interior. Take pictures outside. There are some nice terrace cafes up the escalator.

One of those buildings you see as you walk by and wonder what this decorated building could be . The exterior architecture is elaborate. The station itself is a good one and easy to navigate.

The customer service is aweful, no information anywhere, and if you ask information to people at the windows you will probabily get them wrong.

The double horseshoe-shaped entrance drew our attention to this exquisite building at the northwest corner of the Rossio square. It turned out to be a railway station, the starting point of the Sintra line! Very interesting piece of neo-Manueline architecture, but only the exterior, the...More

A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site,
Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply
