Very fun, relaxing and informative. During my cruise there were people speaking three different languages and so Pedro went individually to you to describe the monuments or landmarks that we passed. He was very knowledgable and it felt like a private history lesson of Lisbon. Very very cool. As the sun set, it got much cooler on the water but... More

It was such a wonderful experience as we had a 2 hour cruise all around with an expert tour guide Paolo, who gave us a very elaborate history of Portugal especially Lisbon. All 3 kids plus lya and I enjoyed the tour with some snacks and drinks along with the very kind yet entertaining crew. I'm so glad I accepted... More

Great little river cruise, and a good way to travel from Lisbon central to belem. It also calls in at the far bank, from where its only a short distance to the statue of Christ. You can also get snacks and drinks on board

We originally booked the 1 hour historic boat cruise at 3pm, but a couple days before I was notified by e-mail that it was cancelled. They generously proposed to upgrade us to the 2 hour sunset sailing cruise the same day, so of course we said yes, and we are very glad we did!! We had such an amazing time,... More

Went on the 2 hour sunset trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, Paolo, was very knowledgeable and gave a running commentary of the many points of interest as we passed. On the return trip there was wine and nibbles, the whole trip was rounded of with beautiful sunset.

We booked this as part of a birthday experience, the staff were extremely helpful, experienced and kind. The sunset was incredible and we have great photos. Also enjoyed an opportunity to steer the boat! Would highly recommend.

A must do in Lisboa! A wonderful experience only surpassed by Monica and Joao's energy, hospitality and stories of days long past of a city's history that is as colorful, romantic and intriguing as the tiles on the facades! A full circle of a pleasurable experience that you want to want to come back to again!

Monica led our tour and it was absolutely incredible. She is very knowledgeable of all of the buildings and she tells the story of Lisbon in a captivating way. If only she had been my history teacher in school! The boat is beautiful and 9 guests fit very comfortably. When it gets cold they bring out jackets and blankets. We... More

A group of us took the 2 hour tour with Paul and another guide. They were very knowledgeable about the tour and very kind and helpful. We have a great time and would definitely recommend this as a great way to see the city of Lisbon.

Staying in Belem

Neighbourhood Profile
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
