I liked the Time Out Market but this was even better. It is about 5 minutes walk from one end of the Tram 28 line (in the West). The food was brilliant- I tried a leitao sandwich and my first cod croquettes, while my wife had an amazing veggie burger. The atmosphere is really nice and unhurried and it felt... More

We happened upon this place after being in the area to have breakfast at a local cafe. It's much smaller than the Time Out one but nicer I think for it. Lots of nice stall selling a variety of food and vegetables. We bought some lovely bread and goats and sheep's cheese for lunch. The fish stalls looked excellent but... More

Very nice food market. Small, but cozy. Some good options, such meat, seafood, vegan and etc.. You choose what you want, pay and sit down and enjoy your afternoon with friends. If it is raining, it is the right choice to have lunch. Great moments I had there.

We loved the idea of being able to buy different meals and enjoy them together. The environment was lively and our small kids loved it too. It can get a bit noisy but it did not bother us at all.

Late afternoon great lunch with friends. Parking just two steps away. Wide variety to choose from. I had fantastic Pica-Pau and my wife a great ceviche. Fantastic atmosphere! Will be back soon!

This market was a lot nicer than the Time Out market. Less crowded, less tourists, much more authentic. On the way to Belem a very nice stop-over. You can get anything here, from fruit to coffee, to beer, to fish, to chocolate.

This market place is not only an interesting building it is also a good place to buy vegetable fruit and fish but also a place with very good food in reasonable prices. It is full of small shops and take away restaurants where they prepare everything in open space and then you can sit and have your meal at the... More

Local market for fresh fish, meat, vegetables and fruits in the morning. In the afternoon /evening it has a second life as food market. The place is more frequented by local people snd has a warmer atmosphere than its big brother near Cais Sodres. To get a good table/place you should go there before 8 pm or on weekdays.
