We had literally nothing to compare this to, but really enjoyed the 50 min show. The singers were extremely talented, as were the guitarists. Song choices were more upbeat, but still very soulful. Can see how it may be considered cheesy or touristy, as they...More

Reflecting back on this evening I would not recommend. You are sitting in uncomfortable chairs no beverages available to a simple performance. I would seek other opportunities if you want Fado.

We wanted to experience Fado. The venue is upstairs in kind of make shift theatre setting with a video presentation of Lisbon behind the singers. I guess I was hoping for a more authentic experience in maybe a more cabaret setting. However, if all you...More

The music here was lovely, but not authentic for fado. Traditional fado is performed in coffee houses or small Bohemian-style restaurants, not in concert halls. The show was only 45 minutes long and pricey to boot. Putting all that aside, the music was very delightful....More

We were looking for a way to experience Fado without dinner. The show was perfect! The guitar playing was terrific! Both the male and female singer were excellent! We had heard that Fado was like the blues, but some of the songs were a lot...More

This family restaurant is an amazing experience, especially if enjoyed when the Fado performers are scheduled to appear (usually on the weekend). The performers are often times just random everyday local people who come to the restaurant to share their culture and gift of local...More

If you don't want to pay 60 euro for a night of food and fado this is a good choice. 50 minutes of fado. We enjoyed the evening. A little taste of fado

I heard that Fado is often nostalgic and very sad type of song sang by male or female. This show which we attended I think is only one which is provided with no food experience and is seated as in theatre. The rest of them...More

Had never seen/heard a Fado show. This one was right around the corner from my hotel. It was all of 50-minutes to introduce to the Portuguese singing. There was a mal and female singer plus tow guitarists. The show was enough to whet your appetite....More
