Our family of seven, including three grandparents and two kids (ages 9 and 12), took the three hour Essential Lisbon tour with Maria. Maria was wonderful - super smart and knowledgeable about all things Lisbon and so great with the kids. She had several scavenger hunts to keep things interesting and extended the tour graciously when we ran short on time. Booking was easy. Highly recommend.

Lovely tour with Julia. Learned lots and was a great way to get our bearings on our first day in Lisbon. We enjoyed the trip on the tram and the custard tart. Our daughter was a little bored at times, I was expecting it to be a little more child focussed but we did enjoy the second challenge finding our way around Barrio Alto.

We took the Sea Heroes of Belém tour with Julia and had a fun time despite the rain and wind. Julia made the tour informative and fun, and adapted to our kids' age & personality. The highlight of course was the mini-tour of the pasteis de Belém bakery complete with tasting. I absolutely recommend having Julia as a tour guide, she was friendly and genuine, and the 3 hours flew by.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lisbon with kids. The guide kept our 6 and 7 year old kids entertained for 3 hours in 40 degree heat, teaching them about the history of Lisbon and ensuring they relate to everything she said.
The guide was also great at amending the tour due to the heat and adding plenty of ice cream stops.
I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!

Marianna was a very good guide and was super patient with our kids. She knew so much history about the destinations we visited in Sintra and she was a terrific navigator for our family. My kids still talk about Initiation Well and the story she told us about the kings brother who was locked in a room for 9 years! Her passion for Portugal is very evident in the stories and knowledge she shared.

We enjoyed the attention the guide paid to our children ages 4,5,7 and 9. He made it fun and information for them. Especially the activities that kept them engaged.
The only negative aspect was the hills! Our little ones didn't have the energy to walk up the many hilly streets and the parents had to carry them in 90 degree heat.
We would have rather taken an Uber or another means of transport up to the Bairro Alto. We didn't expect such an effort on our part and were not given a choice.

We appreciate your review and feedback.
We are sorry that the weather and hills made the experience difficult. Our guides try to adapt the itinerary and stopping places in order to make the family experience as pleasant as possible for everyone (providing shade, benches, toilets, water stops, toilets or playgrounds). We are convinced that the best way to get to know the city is to explore it on foot. Also, the challenges we prepare for children presuppose interaction with the itinerary (namely with the cobbled dtone pavements and the tiles) and visited places, so we always try not to exclude sections from the itinerary.
We hope you have the opportunity to visit and explore the city sometime soon again!

This tour was a highlight of our trip, for all 3 generations. We all learned a lot but there was far less talking than other tours. Our guide did a great job keeping us in the shade, showing us things as well as telling us and including the most important parts. We all loved the scavenger hunt and pastry samples!

I did so much research on the right tour for our group with 6 kids & 8 adults and I'm so glad I went with Little Lisbon! Raphael was so knowledgable and was so incredible with our kids. They were holding his hand only a few minutes into the tour and giving him big hugs at the end.
The tour itself is so well thought out to entertain & teach kids in such simple ways! We especially loved finding a tour that included a tram ride & treats! We didn't hear a single complaint about walking during the tour (which was miraculous)! We had kids 7, 6, 3 years old. (Plus a couple babies but they weren't really included which, we expected)
Couldn't recommend it enough, everyone raved about how perfect it was for our big family group!

Hello, coming to Lisbon touring Portugal in April, has anyone done the little Lisbon Tile painting, graffiti or cooking classes for children. Also anyone done a walking food tour with kids? What are your reviews and experiences. Looking for something fun and memorable for my little ones aged 4,5,7,8 to do? Thanks for any advice?
We will also be travelling North and South, any recommendations in those areas too.
