Obidos in its own is an enchanting experience within the castle walls. The quaint houses and shops etc are straight from a story book. The added magic of Xmas makes it the perfect place for both young and old. the food and especially the "Ginja" liquor served in the little chocolate cups is a must to try , but then everything Portuguese is great , food and fun and value for money.…

Great Christmas fair, with enough space and attractions to keep adults and children entertained for a full day. Great interaction with the characters, and the most perfect Santa I have seen pretty much everywhere. Getting better and better every year.

We dropped by here on the way to getting bus to the airport and decided to walk around. Very interesting old walled town. Charming narrow streets. All sorts of shops. Lots of places to eat or drink or both. They have medieval theme going on where the dress up in medieval costumes. Great to watch.…

We paid the 7 euros per person to enter and were out of here in less than 30 minutes.Very few rides/activities for kids and expensive food and drinks for adults. Very small venue and very crowded. There were groups of small school children here for tours, and they were adorable to watch, but other than that, not much going on. There is a "guard" at the exit who will "stamp" your hand so that you can reenter without paying again, but when we tried that, there was nothing on your hand to show that it had been stamped. You are better off walking through the town of Obidos and looking at the Christmas decorations and trinkets instead.…
