Well, there are faster and less jolty way to get to the beach - but the tram is quite enchanting. I would take it one way, then enjoy the comforts and convenience of the 441 bus back. .

It was hard to find but worth it.The original tram and track, it goes along side the road and in parts between houses and thru the centre of a small town.

If you want to stand like packed herrings in 35 degrees go for it! Otherwise walking beside the tram in same speed is much more entertaining and you actually get to see things around you.

Not sure. There is a train from Lisbon to Sintra. Cheap and freakent. So take undergrounde/tube from airport to Rossio train station and then train to Sintra

Dear Sintra guest, The hotel Miramonte is very close to praia das Maçãs, less than 1000m. The train rail passes at the front of your hotel. Use the tram to go to Sintra. Is not expensive and if you are coming with car you... More
