What can I say... You have to go there! For me and my fiance is the best beach in Portugal. Truly amazing, worth to visit :)

I wouldn't take small kids with me. Take the ones who like to climb mountains because that is exactly what you are going to do - first go down quite a steep mountain and them climb all the way up. There is no other way...More

Be sure to check out this beach whenever you're in the area. The secluded and clean beach is a hidden gem. Be aware of the steep and not fully safe climb.

Praia da Ursa is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches not only in Sintra district but in the entire Portugal. The path along the mountains provides the spectacular views over the coastline filled with rocks and small beaches. It is a kind of hidden...More

What a breathtaking experience. If you're planning to hike down to the beach, make sure to take the path to the left - not the right! We first tried hiking down the right side, not knowing it was for very experienced hikers. We returned the...More

Praia da Ursa is an amazing beach at the Atlantic Ocean. We took bus 100 from Cascais and asked for the driver to stop us near the car parking for Praia da Ursa. From there, there is a one hour walk, climbing down the rocky...More

I've been to many beaches all over this planet, and Praia da Ursa just became one of my favorites. The view from above and down on the beach will amaze you. As has been said, this is not an easily accessible beach. You must be...More

Quite small but absolutely stunning little beach, but ... quite a trek down a steep path - not dangerous (although it might be in heavy rain) but hard work on a hot day. We parked in a small car park by the road rather than...More

PARKING When you turn off the main road there will be a parking spot right there and an option to travel further down the road to another parking right above the beach. The road is a country road, uneven, sometimes with puddles and mud. We've...More

I'm guessing, even if the place is very difficult to access, a lot of people know about it and still come here. We were lucky to visit it end of April, when the weather was already great, but not high season yet - so we...More

Hey A stroller would not be possible to navigate over the rocks and it's pretty steep, you would probably need to use your hands sometimes. Have fun!

You can catch the bus from Sintra - takes about 30/40 mins. Can't remember the fare but it isn't very expensive.
