We had not planned to visit, just happened to pass. Old home with lots of furniture and much more. Old (very old) tiles in adjacent building (same entrance) very interestint. Don't miss the ones built in with mirrors.

An interesting museum for a damp day with printed guides to each room and staff who can answer some questions. Good to see how he lived and what he collected.

The collection of furniture is beautifully laid out but there is very little information provided as to how it came about. The staff don;t speak much English so it was all a bit of a mystery . Worth paying a visit after going to Santa...More

Would. Be interesting with a little bit more effort from staff and more information displayed around the displays.We felt uncomfortable when followed from room to room by staff who did not communicate at all.

I agree with 6John in that the house and tile museum are carefully laid out and full of interesting exhibits but the staff are less than warm

This split museum - one half a massive tile collection, well documented and the other an eclectic mixture of all sorts, laid out as an eccentric grand house (if you wanted 25 different teapots on display in your house). The second half has no information....More
