Great optics collection! Knowledgeable curators and a great way to view the march of technological progress. Also, as available, a cool assortment of for sale items matching exhibits, and world coins.

Thank you for your review. Our goal as a museum was precisely that, to allow contact with historical items and show the technological connection between them. Thank you for your visit!

We found this to be one of the best museums exhibiting vintage cameras, binoculars and telescopes that we have ever seen. I spotted a Yashica camera similar to the one my father used years ago and a different one that my wife had when she...More

Thank you for your review. The organization and display of all the equipment was a big task with such a small team, but it pays off when we get reviews like yours. We really appreciate it! Thank you!

I couldn't resist a visit - I was in Ophthalmic optics for 36 years and had to visit this museum - well actually it's more of a coffee shop, optical antique shop, optical and camera museum and education centre all rolled into one delightful place....More

It's a bit tricky to find: start from the Golden Gate, got up the hill behind Zarco's statue, cross the junction and follow the road as it curves left, the Museum is on the left. Anybody with any interest in cameras, binoculars or astronomy will...More

Thank you! It's true, this museum appears small from the outside, but I'm sure it changes people's minds when they get in! Also, we are working on future expansions of the museum area. Thank you once more for your kind words!
