Quinta Vigia is the president's palace but the gardens are open to the public for the princely sum of 1 euro. They are beautifully maintained and wonderful to stroll through. There is a viewpoint at the far end.

Small garden but beautiful. 1 euro to enter. Lovely well kept garden. Over looking the sea. Only takes about half hour to walk round. Well worth the euro! Don't miss it if you are in Funchal.
