Where a lot of the night life is! Lots and lots of restaurants down a small cobbled street, you must run the gauntlet of all the restaurants and all the waiters wanting your business, they are not too pushy and accept NO readily.

What a pity it was closed on a Tuesday night. We had read lots of reviews and were very excited. We had run the gauntlet of the waiters down the narrow street o ly to be sad.

Quaint, historic, calm, beautiful, relaxing, charm. Thesecarevjustva fewcofvthecwirds that springvtobmind. Worth a short walk to take in the atmosphere. Don't miss out this wonderful place.

We happened across the Tradicional while walking around town. Had sailed to Madeira, so our trip was a little different. lots of products including cookies and foods and grog. very helpful staff and we sampled some madeira titbits. definitely worth a visit.

Looks like a small bar from the outside but wonderful shop inside. Many local products. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

Me and my partner found this place by chance.defo one of the best poncha's in funchal.Drink poncha while snacking on peanuts ,bolo de caco or chourico,while people watching in the lane ways..Service is great,the lady speaks perfect english and very friendly..try it and see it...More
