It is in a way fun to look at all these old equipment, but if you are not in the business, so you really like to look at all details, the visit will not take a very long time. The staff is really nice.

What mightn't as first sound very interesting actually proved to be facilitating. The information was displayed in an easy to access manner and discovery how the island became electrified and its current provision was quite captivating.

A good way to spend an hour, we were very impressed with the lay out and information. Going back to where it all started with the first house to have electricity on the island.

Very nice place, ticket 1,35 EUR for students. Many items connected with electrification of Madeira island found there in one place. Possible to know more about electricity and electrification process and status in Madeira and neighboring islands. No dislikes, liked everything.

Beautifully maintained but not much to see and no English translations available. Activities designed for children are OK but not startling

As a pensioner I was only charged E1.30 to go in (my wife stayed outside in the sun). I was fascinated by the displays - some really took me back. Sadly there is little information in English, so it was a case of just looking.
