Absolutely astonishing collection at this toy museum built up by one man, who happened to be there amending an exhibit while we were there. He was more than happy to talk to us about his passion, and it was well worth 5 Euros. One slight...More

The toy Museum is situated in the old town in Funchal. Set out on upstairs floors it has a huge range of toys – many cars, planes, legos etc and in the courtyard outside a collection of Ferrari cars. Great for grown up children.

Most expensive museum visited. Lots of cars, trains, dolls, soldiers, planes etc to see. On second floor so a bit of a climb for older folk. €5 each. Very stuffy so didn't want to linger. Allowed to take photos.

We had a really nice visit here when on holiday. The staff are lovely and the toys (predominantly vehicles and other boys' toys) are well displayed.
