Definitely recommend using this tour to see a lot of Funchal. With Buses running every 20 minutes, it provides ample time to have a look round and literally Hop back on the next bus or you can stay on the open topped bus for around...More

I got a 2 day ticket, which included the Red Line, Blue Line, Green Line and a discount to CR7, Ronaldo's Museum. The way to see a lot. Especially if you do not have a car. A good value, fairly priced.

We have used these red hop on hop of buses in many cities including the UK an Germany and never had a problem. We’ve always found them informative and an easy way to explore. The service in Funchal is poor, confusing and frustrating to say...More

This tour, (include the Red/Green/Blue line) will give you the best overview of all of the Funchal's attractions. We paid 50 Euro (2pp for 2 days). You can hop on and hop off anywhere for 2 days. We went back to the all inclusive resort...More

After much head scratching chose red bus rather than yellow. Had already been to Monte so didn't need blue route. Red took us to fishing village as well as round town. Paid €17 each for 48hr pass, which you buy on bus. Sat on bus...More

This has turned into a bit of a con, as they say its a 2 line tour (blue and green) but its not its 1 tour that magically turns from blue into a green line whilst you are sat on it. Very poor value for...More

If you are only here for the day and don't want to venture too far from the town but still want to see the sights use the hop on hop off bus service. Funchal has 2 routes for these buses and it cost 25 euros...More

A good way to see Funchal and the surrounding area and get your bearings re places of interest. Top deck is partially covered which is helpful on a wet and windy day. The 17€ ticket lasts 24 hours so if you are clever it can...More

Purchased 2 tickets for the blue line, each ticket costs 15 euros,we were told the bus arrives every 20 minutes. Not only apparently the bus arrives once in 30 minutes, it waits for almost 10 more- so basically the blue line, which is the cheapest is...More

There were none that I found but with multiple trips round and stops you can get your monies worth out of them. Don't let the price put you off.

The blue line operated by the Red Bus company takes you to Monte where you can walk to the toboggan - only a few minutes walk away and it has a stop at the end of the toboggan run. You can always get a local bus or go up on... More

The red bus is about every 20 minutes but if there are cruise ships in they put on extra buses and they can be more frequent. I don't know about the yellow ones as we no longer use them
