Very beautifully restored 15th century palace has several large rooms with period pieces (furniture, paintings, tapestry, ceramics, weapons) and very good descriptions of what each room contains. We recommend this palace to anyone visiting Guimaraes.

Prepare to visit this palace! It’s absolutely stunning with real 15 century furniture and vases. Comfortable shoes are in order. Combo with the castle for 6 euros. It’s a must when in Guimaraes.
