The view is amazing, the wine and port delicious and the staff super knowledgeable and friendly. It was part of our Douro Valley tour and everything was fantastic. We tried rose port for the first time and it was delicious! We bought a bottle of it and also white wine for the boat. We had an amazing time there!!

We went here as part of a wine tasting tour through Douro valley and tried a few of their port wines. The tasting was really good, the lady who guided us through the wines was really friendly and forthcoming and explained everything to us, starting with the history of the winery, how the different port wine families differ and what makes them different and stand out. The wines were really good as well and we were never forced into buying anything! Nevertheless we got two small bottles in the end, cause it was really good and we wanted to support a business like this, especially in times like these. Would recommend this winery 100%!

We visited on October 2 with a small group. We had been looking forward to this for a long time. In fact, tasting in Porto region was the reason we came to Portugal in the first place. We tasted 5 wines in 20-25 minutes. It was extremely rushed. The employee who served our group of 8 acted like her hair was on fire and that she needed to get away as soon as possible. While the wines were good and the scenery excellent, I had the feeling I was visiting a mammoth producer that was just checking the boxes and collecting our money. It was way too corporate and frenetic. I am happy I got to see the place but the experience fell far short of expectations. I give 3 stars because of the scenery for a two star experience. She would start poring the next wine before I even got to sip the wine currently in my glass. Not to mention the tastings were a little more than the size of a thimble.

I understand that when we have a so fantastic view we would like live there just enjoying the magnific product they are serving us, and it was not only Port wine. But that is impossible, specially if we are coming in busy hours (you forgot to tell that you saw how much we work during the harvest) or when is necessary to close. I am sure that you will continue apreciate our Port wine in the quiteness of your home
