About
She Changes, known locally as "A Anemona" (The Anemone) is a beautiful and imposing sculpture with international awards designed by the famous american artist Janet Echelman. Located near the main beach of Porto (Matosinhos), it is considered by many one of the most beautiful sculptures built in Europe in recent years. It is a really nice focal point, it looks impressive, but disappointingly it wasn't lit up when we went past in the evenings. I was hoping for some nice photos.

passed this sight during a windy day so have not seen it lit at night. IT still was a sight, making shapes and billowing on a roundabout at the far end of the bus stop 500.

This is an amazing sculpyure. However, we only saw it during the day. One coupld had a video of the evening when it was lit when it was beautiful and eerie.

Works of art arouse opinions. Beauty is subjective. What for some is an anemone, for others it is a scar. What for some is a symbol of modernity, others is failure. Its not enough polluting the sea, Some need to pollute the air to. Fishing the wind.

If you're looking for some modern art and author view of things, you should visit Rotunda da Anémona. Located right on the beach, "changing" sculpture admiring can be successfully combined with other beach activities.

A beautiful piece of art made to resemble fisherman's nets but as it takes the breeze it looks more like an Anemone, hence the local nickname
Absolutely enormous, you can't miss it in the middle of a busy roundabout. I found it utterly spellbinding on my visit when it was especially windy.

It does not look big from a distance, but it is huge!

Unfortunately we did not see it with the lights one, only during the day. An interesting construction that is worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood..

? is this the upside down hoops for an old fashioned ladies skirt? I think not, but it is a very evocative piece of art. It leads to a lot of discussion and will continue to do so for a long time. I loved it.
