Cute

Remarkable church, specially outside, you don’t see something like this everyday, really eye catchy.

The façade of the church is lovely. The door is not always open to enter, but at least the exterior is a sight to be seen. It is tucked within a shopping district.

For those who likes the tiles and contemplate reflectively a place of tranquility from the XVIII century, which had its origin in a wooden chapel erected in honor of Sta. Catarina.

Beautiful chapel on Rua Santa Catarina. It dates from the 18th century and is well worth a visit. On a really busy street but it is a haven of tranquility.

This Chapel is famous for its tiled exterior, which is very impressive definitely worth seeking out when in the city for a Photo-stop. There was a service in progress when I was there so I didn't go inside

Situated on a corner in the walking street Rua Santa Catarina, the chapel is remarkable for the huge tiles mural on the side wall and front of the building. The interior is also worth viewing with gilt statues and art works

If you only have five minutes in Porto, and you want to see an exterior tiled church, go to the Capela das Almas. Granted, you should be able to see many churches as Porto is so small (we saw five all across the city in...More
