Even on a drizzy, rainy January day in Porto we enjoyed exploring! Loved walking around and seeing the colourful houses, lots of cafes and restaurants around too. Definitely make sure you walk on the bridge for wonderful views.

Had a picnic with some friends by the water when visiting Porto. Nice view over Porto waterfront. Calm and relaxing place. Possabilities for boat rides along the river. Porto is beautiful!

Loved staying in an apartment overlooking the river in Ribeira. It's an amazing place at all times of the day. Got bars, restaurants, stalls and shops. Great atmosphere!

I don't think there's a market in the Zona Ribeirinha. But the Mercado do Bolhão is worth a visit though.

Yes,it never stops,regardless of the day.Obviously summer months are usually busy,and probably with more local people.very nice atmosphere
