When in Porto the church is worth visiting... intricate frescos, overall a very impressive building with lots of history .. plays an important role in Porto’s religious history... worth checking out if time permits

It’s a nice cathedral, but there are many more incredible luxurious decorated churches in Porto. For a short stop and go it’s fine.

Preferred this church to the cathedral as more ornate superb wood carving and gilt work. Word of warning they get quite irate if you take photos as I found out.
