It's a nice church but the visit is just OK. The main attraction is the tower with its great view on the city

Taking advantage of a concert commemorating the 100 years of Czechoslovakia, I went to the Church of the Clérigos for the first time, and was surprised by its beauty, despite not being an admirer of the baroque style. Announced by the president of the Brotherhood...More

a great walk through the church - amazing building and architecture, seeing the church from all different levels and views. tower stairs is worth it - lovely views - make sure you go all the way to the top.

The church has a tower that offers a really good view and also on the way up it has several plaques showing you how high you are climbing. The church is very nice but the tower is the better part.

Church is impressive but right now under re-construction. However, the view from the court are the best in town. Good any time, but especially by twilight time.

We visited this Baroque church first, before going on to climb the tower. Admission to the church is free, but if you go on to climb the tower at a cost of €5, the route takes you behind the statue above the altar, and there...More

This beautiful old church is so much a part of the community; young people sit on the steps playing music for the crowds, always hopeful for some expression of gratitude. it stands next to the Clergios Tower. The Baroque Church dates back to 1735 by...More

This is a beautiful church, so worth visiting in it's own right, but if you go at midday, you will be treated to a free 30-minute organ recital! Superb! Only drawback was that I wanted to climb the tower, however there was a 30-minute wait,...More
