Visiting Viana do Costelo and saw this church on the hill. Long twisty drive to get to it but well worth it. For 1 euro you can visit the very top, which we did. Amazing view was the reward after the climb. Good photo opportunity!
Parking next door is very convenient (but you need a small car to get into it and into its spaces.) This is the longest funicular in Portugal but you don't wait long. Mid September on a Saturday, it was not crowed at all.
