Overview
More
The Botanique has become a cultural Centre since 1984. Formally, it was a Botanique garden, with gorgious greenhouses. Nowadays, it still show its wonderful architecture, together with up-to-date concert venues (Orangerie, Rotonde, Witloof Bar ...). Discover our many concerts over the year through our website or visit our galery called Museum, with its 4 or 5 big exhibitions a year (photography, paintings, ...).

You will like this place if you're looking for some peace and quiet with nothing going on just a nice smell of trees.

I should start with the positive: the gardens are nice. You can visit two distinct garden areas. The formal gardens are located in front of the greenhouse and are easiest to access from Rue Royale. If you walk through the formal gardens (more or less...More

I did not enter the building but the gardens... they are not nice. If it's a botanic garden one expects loads of green, flowers etc. Everything was rather grey, no flowers or diverse plans, and really not taken care of. If you have little time...More

On a very cold March day, the Botanical House part of these gardens provided some relief from the very cold wind after spending many hours walking around and visiting different sites in Brussels. The gardens and basic Botanical House are free to enter, the art...More

The old building looks great against some of Brussels' most modern skycrapers. Statues OK, gardens likewise. However these are hardly botanical gardens, a lot of drinking and I am not a whimp but didn't feel comfortable.

You will like this place if you're looking for some peace and quiet with nothing going on - just a nice smell of trees, and the sight of the big beautiful fountain. We were autopsies of the size of the park - make sure to...More

To have a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a wonderful place to sit by the lake having lunch, or walk along the many trails. Filling the lungs up with fresh air before venturing back into the fray.

Made a trip specially to visit here and was gently disappointed as the grounds aren't that large and wasn't much to experience or see. Still a nice green breath of fresh air amidst its surroundings, and caught a whiff of lavender fresh in the wind....More
