Shops everywhere along this fairly narrow hugely tourist walking / shopping district. We did enjoy the shops which host about everything you could want from Athens.

This is a main street full of shops selling tourist items. They also sell foods and alcohol. If you are nearby it is worth taking a walk around to have a look at.

Pandrossou street is located in Monastiraki, in the center of Athens. It is a crowded market area full of souvenirs, crafts and small gifts. It is nice to stroll by, look at the many little shops and experience the busy market atmosphere. Nice - but...More

Pandrossou is one of a few streets in the Monastiraki area of Athens, indeed, in Athens as a whole, that is really worth seeing. It is in a great location, choc-a-block full of shops of every description. There are tourist shops, above all, but there...More

I don't normally go in for souvenir shopping areas, but his one is really good. There are lots of choices regarding what to buy and the quality of the items in sale is generally very good. Worth a look.

They call you to come look at their wares a little pushy over eager to help. The pickpocket feel is true know where your items are some shady selling going on. Pay attention and it is a fun experience.

The street of Pandrosou is the oldest commercial street in Athens. It dates since the Ottoman's era. The street is narrow and colorful, full of touristic shops with memorabilia. However it is usually full of people. So be careful of pick pickpockets.

pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious
