I had a wonderful time at the wine tasting/tour. The tour, hosting, wine tasting & cookery class were all done by Jason who runs the family business with his mother. He was a brilliant host, very knowledgeable and welcoming. We started with a tour of the vineyard folllowed by the wine tasting - we tried six wines, all very different but all delicious. After this we did the cookery class. There were only 5 other people who had booked onto the tour with lunch that day so lots of opportunities to ask questions and get stuck in with the cooking. After the cookery section of the day, we sat down to eat lunch together and had 11 different delicious plates - the food is really good! And of course, there was plenty of wine to go with it. Highly recommend a visit.

Great tour of Lindos and the Old City of Rhodes. Enjoyed the olive oil and pottery location. Local shopping was fun and non-pressured.

It was a small group the day we went, it was actually rescheduled from the day before because of lack of people, however, it's becoming the end of the season. The winery - Anastasia-Triantafyllou was beautiful and my friend and I really enjoyed the presentation by Jason and the ability to ask so many questions and see everything up close. The wine and food were excellent!

I absolutely loved the wine tasting and cooking class. The setting was beautiful and Jason (in English) was really knowledgable and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to try some Greek wine and food in a gorgeous location.

Definitely a memorable experience with a visit to a winery, a wine tasting, an on-site cooking class and a 10 course (small plates) lunch. From start to finish, it was a top notch experience. Jason was an excellent host who delighted in sharing information on his vineyard and wines. While we got to taste all the wines before lunch, we were then able to enjoy any of the wines with our lunch.

Our pick up at the port went off without a hitch even to the point of being sent a picture of the vehicle and it’s license plate.

We would whole heartedly recommend the experience, but definitely skip breakfast.

Wow! What a wonderful experience and especially loved the cooking prep. Plenty of wine and a ridiculous amount of food. The only thing I’d add was that with so many amazing dips it would have been nice to have pita chips or crackers to spread on and a few people at our table mentioned the same. We did have bread served early in the courses but ran out fast.

We're absolutely thrilled to hear about your fantastic experience! It's always great to have such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic chef like you join us. As for your comment about not eating what you made, well, they say practice makes perfect, right? Consider it a "creative reinterpretation" of the culinary arts. We believe every dish has its own unique charm, even if it's not what you initially intended. Thanks for bringing your humor and positive vibes to our tour. We hope to see you again soon for another round of delicious adventures and culinary surprises!

Our tour guide was amazing, and this review is not a reflection of her or our driver as they were both truly wonderful.

you get what you pay for, so I wouldn’t really expect more for the price I paid, but it was a lot of driving and waiting and not a ton of history and getting to spend time in the different locations. Everything felt extremely rushed.

Also, if you choose to go, wear shoes that have good traction because the Acropolis walk way is very slippery, and take 50 cent euro coins with you for the bathroom. Really anytime you go on a tour anywhere in Europe you should always make sure to take a variety of coins with you for the bathroom because they cost anywhere from 50 cents to 1 euro typically.

Thank you for your kind words regarding your guide and driver. We apologize if the tour seemed rushed, unfortunately, shared tours during cruise ship visits are typically constrained by tight ship schedules, leaving little room for flexibility. It's worth noting that we've received similar feedback, primarily from passengers on luxury cruise ships. It remains somewhat perplexing to us why some discerning travelers, who invest significantly in luxury cruises, may expect the same level of flexibility, privacy, and opulence when booking a 70 EUR tour. We would highly recommend those discerning travelers to consider booking private vs group tours. We appreciate your priceless advice regarding coins, but we believe that travelers may not need to bring them along. Many restrooms in Europe are equipped with attendants who can provide change for your bills. Additionally, popular tourist destinations such as Lindos and Rhodes town are teeming with shops and cafes. If you are uncomfortable asking shop attendants for change, you can always purchase a 50 cent ice-cold water and receive some change in return. Safe travels!

Let me first say that our lunch was delicious. The food that was served was plentiful and delicious. Come hungry but make sure you eat breakfast as it is several hours before you have lunch. This is a small vineyard run by husband, wife, and son. The son was our guide and did a great job with information and the tour of vineyards. We then did a 5 bottle wine tasting. 3 whites, 1 dry red, 1 sweet red. The wines were good, I was surprised and disappointed to only have 1 dry red. After that we attending the cooking "class." This was really more of a demonstration. There were a several stations set up but there were more people than stations so we raised our hand to see who would get to do each step. So we spent most of the time watching other people cook.

Which brings to me by 3 star ranking. My disappointment is because they did not provide what was advertised. This is listed as a cooking class, when in fact is more of demonstration and nothing like the cooking classes I have had in Italy. This tour is also listed with a max of 16 people. We had well over 30 people which created an environment that was chaotic. We booked this tour on our 20th anniversary expecting a winery tour, wine tasting, and cooking class for a small number of people. We did not get that and that is why I am giving an average rating.

I want this family to succeed as they were so nice, we just didn't get what we booked and that is why we were disappointed. The transfers were great and we made friends with those in our transfer vehicle. We thought we were going to be the only ones. When we got there there was a huge group of people that arrived shortly after us, from a bus. We enjoyed our time with the friends we met and we all ended up comparing notes. We all booked this tour from different sites. Each of us had a different description of what we were booking and each of us paid different amounts but we all got the same thing. My husband and I paid the most because we booked a tour with a max of 16 people, even though that wasn't what we got. Just very frustrating. I hope this family changes the information section to this listing, provides the same description of the classes within each booking engine, and charges the same.

Thank you for your feedback. We take every review seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Firstly, over the several years that this tour has been operating, yours is the first 3-star feedback we've received. While we did have a couple of complaints, they were from a Russian-speaking couple who faced language barriers dealing with our simply pick up info, and a couple of gifted American cruise passengers who, despite understanding English, couldn't locate our prominently-signed red minibus parked at their ship gate. 😊 Addressing your specific concerns: 1. Cooking Class: The tour isn't promoted as an extensive cooking class. A brief segment is dedicated to showcasing the preparation of popular Greek dishes, from tzatziki to dolmades. Guests can either participate actively or watch. If you wished to be hands-on, we always have cooking gloves available for all the participants. 2. Group Size: Your group comprised 14 members, with dedicated transfers and a host at the winery, precisely as described in our tour details. Jason, the owner's son and the owner himself, personally conducted your tour, while his assistant managed another group that you mentioned. Our spacious winery allows for accommodating multiple groups seamlessly. 3. Wine Tasting: we are not sure about that Italian winery, but our approach to wine tasting aligns with standard practices – offering up to 6 samples. In your case, it included 5 wines and a tsipouro (Greek grappa), a specialty of our winery. We take pride in being the sole authorized producer of this particular beverage in Rhodes. 4. Pricing Variations: The tour is available for booking through multiple agents, which can lead to variations in price. We directly manage prices on VIATOR and TRIPADVISOR due to our established contract with them. For consistent pricing, we advise booking directly through these platforms - the price including transportation should not exceed 120 EUR. Should you choose to explore other options, there are at least 100 of resellers, ranging from independent travel agents to well-known online platforms, but their prices are usually higher, or if you find a lower price, it may indicate compromised quality from another tour and provider, definitely not us. Thank you for choosing our tour. We hope to welcome you back to sunny Rhodes in the future. Best regards.
