Private exhibition gallery behind Parliament. Not so touristic place. Very fine gallery and the temporary exhibition of Callas was extraordinary. Find this, it is fine.

I visited today and went through a three floor exhibit of Picasso and Cocteau. It was very fascinating. The staff are quite amiable. The museum is a stone throw from Syntagma square where change of the guards takes place.

This is a building that houses exhibitions, concerts, theater plays etc. and for that, it does the job to an excellent degree. Its theater is nice, the exhibition space well lit and overall the presentation and cleanliness is top notch.

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is
Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament
building on its upper side and surrounded by other
large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande
Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia
are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like
the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia
Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,
