Worth the tour, walking around, eating, nice restaurants and coffee shops, many souvenir shops. The real essence of the city

Narrow labyrinthine streets , taverns and Greek food go at night so you can enjoy walking in cooler temperatures and have a smashing dinner at a local Greek tavern with local folk music . You walk through history as if transported back to centuries back...More

We were there twice in the late evening and in the morning. It's hard to say when it's better - it's very cool! Очень приятное аутентичное место со множеством интересных магазинчиков и ресторанов. Были там дважда поздним вечером и с утра - одинаково прекрасно! Очень...More

If you like to shop this is the pace for you. A labyrinth of streets, many pedestrian access only with shops from local vendors to H&M, very crowded in July, watch your wallet/purse, we were told there are many pick pockets

The Plaka is great fun to walk around, whether you are looking for purchases, window-shopping, finding a restaurant to eat at, or just soaking in the culture and vibe of Athens. We have been here a few times and are never disappointed with the wandering...More

Many restaurants and cafes. Streets full of little shops and vendors selling souvenirs, gifts, and many more items. It is fun to walk around and get the "feel" of the place. During the summer time, It is very touristy and crowded, be careful of pickpocketing.

Plaka district is the hub of Athens that you need to visit lots of nice stuff to shop plenty of nice coffee shops and restaurants. Do not forget to try the Greek iced coffee while walk in that street.

Navigating through the streets of Plaka is an exciting experience but a labyrinth nonetheless. It's a must while in Athens.

I think this is probably on everyone's list of places to walk through while in Athens. Lots of souvenir shops, cafes, and restaurants. Good to spend an hour or so in while taking a break from the Acropolis. Found a cute cafe, caught up on...More
