Located next to the Museum of Pavlos and Alexandra Kanellopoulos, this is another museum that is located on the foothills of the Northern part of Acroplis Hills

During my recent trip to Greece, I visited the Museum of the History of Athens University. A nice small museum in the old city of Athens, it is built with a lovely view of the city and worth a visit. Recommended.

An interesting building in neoclassical style. Very impressive, impossible not to be noticed from the distance. Pay attention to the great painting up to the door, a true artistic masterpiece! Take a look also at night if you can!

Beautiful building below the Acropolis with a courtyard where I saw the performance - discussion based on the trial of Socrates...great setting for it....and the performance is on again this year, last 2 weeks of July .

It has a huge model of the city that one can walk around but whats best is that this city is several thousand years old and to see it grow and wane over the eons is fascinating.
