An interesting museum

It's a very interesting museum, classically designed. By visiting the museum you can educate about a lot of things.

This was a sad little museum in need of some creativity and a good dusting. Much of the taxidermy in the exhibits has lost its vitality. There is dust build up on the bugs. I read that someone spent a few hours at the museum.. and I wondered what they did? The earth portion needs updating to include the newest... More

We sadly heard that the museum is going to shut down permanently. I hope is not true.. Offers a range of animal and bird spieces very well preserved and displayed. A lot to learn from the rocks in the lower floor. Perfect for a day out with children

A very interesting, even though relatively small, Natural History Museum but with huge contribution to the creation of environmental awareness in Greece. It will be something that small kids will enjoy and grown ups may use in order to either remind themselves of things that they may have forgotten or quite simply learn new things. The fossil, plants, marine and... More

We went for a few hours before lunch and had a great time. Our 3 year old had a great time and the animal displays particularly kept his interest. It is easy to find. Very reasonably priced and the exhibits are great.

Another visit to Goulandris museum…a must for me visit especially if you have along kids. (Check my previous review as well) If you happen to be in the area, it should be counted as one of your ‘must see’ spots. During spring or summer you can sit in the lush garden. The Museum Café Restaurant is open in the morning... More

There are so many things to discover in Greece among them the Goulandris Museum. Greece has been at the center of so many archeological, historical and religous topics that you will not be disappointed with the exhibits and displays. Breathtaking exhibits.

The museum is something different in Athens and it is worth visiting! I am not sure if there are other similar venues in Greece, but this one is a beautiful place, and the collection is really interesting and well-maintained. On top of that, the outdoors area for dining/coffee/drinking in the summer -when we visited- is really beautiful. The drink selection... More

Fantastic place to visit when in Greece. We went as a family of 4 and had a wonderful time! Great exhibitions and collections and lots to see and interact with! Prepare for a long visit, we spent 4 hours there! The architecture of the building and the neiborghood are fantastic as well. Will visit again to take a look at... More
