Get to know the wonderful world of Mediterranean cuisine; the herbs, the fresh vegetables, the choice meats that we always use and learn the basics on how to prepare a full Greek dinner with easy to follow recipes and plenty "hands on" preparation and cooking. The cooking course includes starters like eggplant salad, tzatziki, traditional seasonable pie, dolmadakia, Greek salad and a main course. Plenty of choices for vegetarians also.

Eva did a marvelous job of making us feel welcome and very comfortable. During the class, we prepared a multi-course meal including spinach pie, lamb, and zucchini balls. Not only was Eva informative about the food, but gave us great insight into greek culture through food.

I did this class with a friend. Our teacher, Eva, was so incredible. She told interesting stories, gave great cooking tips and helped us make 7 different foods for a truly authentic meal experience. Our food turned out wonderfully and we left feeling very proud of ourselves and completely sated.

I visited in Athens, Greece and took this course. Absolutely amazing experience with great instructor and people. Cooked so many different things and enjoyed the food we cooked together in a nice restaurant afterwards. Everybody got food coma and had a blast. Highly recommend to everyone who has passion for learning how to cook Greek cuisine.

My fiancee and I took this class. She is a foodie. I am not. But it turned out to be really fun for both of us. There were little things that would have been cool to learn about regardless of the foods on the menu that night, such as the Greek use of salt to desiccate spinach and cucumbers.

Fofi was marvelous. We cooked great food and learned a lot about Greek cuisine. Our companions for the evening were wonderful too! I would highly recommend.

Our cooking class with Fofi was an incredible experience. Luckily for us, it was only my daughter and I during the class so it was a very personal experience. Fofi is very knowledgable about Greek cuisine and gave us many tips and tricks along the way, and wonderful and friendly company overall, a great person to chat to and someone... More

My wife and I loved this class! From the hostess to the teacher to the waiters, everyone was wonderfully kind, friendly, and engaging (which is always a key to teaching anything). The warm and inviting environment provides the perfect atmosphere for a great class that's as fun for beginners as it is for experts. Definitely check it out at least... More

We spend 4 days in Greece in November and the cooking course by Filou at the Diavlos Tavern was one of the highlights of our stay. She is not only an excellent cooker but able to transmit in a very interesting and simple way some of the basic of the Greek kitchen. Including practical tips for daily cooking. The recipes... More

The best way to get into greek food is to join Fofis class. She is really knowledged and friendly. We did a few starters, a main dish and a dessert. Afterwards we ate everything and took the rest at home. You really should do that if you want to get to know the country and their food behaviors. Totally recommendable!... More

Really learned a lot during this class. Fofi the instructor is absolutely wonderful- she teaches the class about Greek culture and the significance of each recipe. The class is very hands on and finishes with the class eating the full meal. Recipe packet is provided. The class takes place in the banquet room of a restaurant; staff is also very... More
