Trip together was about 1h 25min, they stop a lot and feed fish so you can see them very close. Also staff was nice and helped us to get on with stroller.

Waste of money in my opinion. Trip was advertised as 1 hour 25 minutes and only about 10-15 minutes was spent actually letting us look at the sea life, which was the whole point of the trip. At 16 euros per person it’s not overly expensive but you could spend your money better elsewhere.

A nice experience if you are interested in Cretan marina. We happened to be seated faceing inwards, so we didn’t see much more than the things below us. When the audioguide told us about the sea life we didn’t see much, since they feeded the fishes on the outer side of the boat.
I’d say this is a experience for families with children, but there were people in all ages. The languages was in english, german and french from what I can remember. On our way back we sat outside on deck, I could have done without the music, since it was a bit lound and I could have just taken in the view from the sea in silence. Or at least some calmer music.

My wife and I enjoyed our semi submersible tour from Agios Nikolaos. I thought that it might feel a bit claustrophobic but it wasn't really. If you think you may be seasick the staff can provide anti seasickness chewing gum. The first half of the trip is done in the part of the boat which is under the water and the second half of the trip is done on the upper decks.

It's an unusual and quite pleasant experience to see the underwater world since it's usually closed to most people. However what we got to see was a lot of fish - and not that many different ones - and rocks and some underwater plants, and that was the sum total of the positives.

As others have said, when you go down to the viewing deck, you get shouted at by an aangry-sounding and unpleasant little man about where you must sit, and there is absolutely no flexibility, and what's worse no _explanation_ as to why the particular seating pattern is necessary. If someone were to say why it has to be done this way, then it might be easier to accept. Now all 3 of us managed eventually to sit on the outward-facing side, which was entirely thanks to another couple who swapped with one of us because they unsurprisingly wanted to sit together - but they ended up on the inner side and probably had a significantly worse experience than we did. Other reviews have made it clear how poor it can be if you're sitting on the inside seats.

It's not an expensive trip though, so you may want to take the risk.

We loved this trip! It was so easy to book on trip advisor, the staff were super friendly and the whole experience was a delight. Both adults and children really enjoyed the underwater experience and the trip up top was a bonus! Agios Nikolaos is a beautiful town to visit whilst in Crete.
If you want a cheeky snorkelling hot spot whilst out there then head slightly south to Beti beach - gorgeous little hidden cove!

Such a great trip for the whole family. We saw lots of fish including barracuda, moray eels and parrot fish. The second part of the tour was on deck, this part did feel like a bit of a tour / promotion of the shoreline hotels but we did enjoy the views.

Semi-sub ship was great! The cruise is split into two parts - underwater viewing just a short hop from the berth, then a trip along the coast, back to the berth. It takes around 1.5hrs in total. Lots of small and large fish to see, as well as Moray Eels! Getting to the berth was not too much of a challenge, there is parking close by and you are right in the centre of Agios Nikolaos.

Absolute rubbish. As mentioned by previous reviewers you were lucky if you had a view on the outside of the boat but a few tiny fish, the rocky sea bed and the passengers on the other cabin were all you view if on the inside.Far too many passengers to enable all to view the fish. Fortunately not too expensive (16 euros) Anymore and I think there would have been a riot. Lots of children were totally bored if seated on the inside. Total waste of money. Do not bother.
