About
Pelagos Dive Centre is operating since 1987! Located in Agios Nikolaos-Crete, next to Minos Beach art hotel. It is ideal for all levels of divers, families and watersports funs. Situated on the water's edge with multilingual instructors (with over 30 years of experience), ensure safe and comfortable learning for beginners. Most dive sites are within 20 mins ride on our (10m purpose built jet driven) dive boat with easy boarding access. Relaxed, easy multilevel diving in warm, current free, crystal clear waters with 30m+ visibility most of the year. Dive sites include apart from a rich variety of Mediterranean marine life, reefs, drop offs, caverns, WW2 and ancient artifacts. Snorkelers and non divers are also welcome. We hold EN certifications by BUREAU VERITAS. A selection of other WATER ACTIVITIES and Boat rentals are also on offer here!

Can't recommend Pelagos Dive Centre enough for their Discover scuba diving experience. Everyone that we spoke to and dealt with was so friendly, helpful and fun, from booking via the phone to arrival and the course itself. Safety is definitely key to this dive centre but they also want you to feel comfortable at every stage and to love it as much as they do. Every step was clearly explained and there was absolutely zero pressure to push or rush. Ellie our instructor was amazing - there was just myself and partner on the dive with her and we both loved the experience. If we'd have had time we'd have both loved to be able to go and do the deeper dive that they offer after this experience dive.

Hubbie persuaded me to join the ‘try scuba’ experience. I was super nervous but our instructor Tedi was absolutely amazing. Completed a 5m dive, fed fish and began to understand and control equipment.

I cannot fault Stefanos and the team in any way. A really excellent dive centre. Good instructors, very friendly and highly professional.
I've now done six dives at Pelagos Dive Centre, all excellent. I did a refresher course in June followed by three boat dives and another two boat dives in August/September. All were very good and great fun. Most dives were between 20-30m and we were under for 50mins or more.
We dived the islands off Agios and also under the cliffs towards Elounda. Lots of fish, octopus and several wrecks. All were good value at €60 for a boat dive and an hour underwater
I will be going again when I return to Crete next year

Awesome dive centre! Extremely friendly people, very engaged and helpful. The service and gear are great.
I’ve had 6 dives with them as an advanced open water diver, and had a fantastic time. Mostly I dived with Manos: he had a very good vibe, and made sure I did nice dives! The owners and the other divers are also very nice.

This is not my first trip to Pelagos but I thought it's time I actually put what I think of this team.

3. Nothing to much trouble.
Stefanos and Kathryn are the head of this team they are wonderful people who just want you to get the best service and just have fun. The rest of the guys just feed off this mantra and give everyone their best.
Thank you again for making my holiday diving so much pleasure and will see you again very soon.

Pelagos Diving Center is the best diving and water sports business in Agios Nikolaos and maybe all of Crete for that matter! I was a brand new rookie open water scuba-diver having gotten my cert only a couple weeks before my first scuba-dive with Pelagos. Manos was my teacher / safety partner and he went above and beyond to help me feel safe, confident, and ready. Manos was never far from my site and kept checking in with me throughout the dive to make sure all went well...thanks Mano! Also Petros and Theodora were of great assistance too throughout not only my first but second dive as well....yes, I did 2 dives because the first with Mano went exceptionally well. Theodora checked me in / made me feel invited and comfy and Petros provided the comraderie, sarcasm, and laughs which I feel are exactly what rookie divers need! Also thank you to Katherine and Stefanos, the two partners / owners of the place as regardless of how busy it was both days I went, they always found time to ask how it went or of they could help in any way. Also more thanks to Stefanos for consistently communicating and making sure a small billing error got quickly taken care of. 100% / 5 Star Outstanding Review for all Pelagos!! Don't hesitate to check these guys out :)

I brought my three daughters to Pelagos for the 4 open water dives they needed to complete the PADI open water course - we had an excellent experience. The club is a family business led by a husband ( lead instructor / team manager) and wife (operations) team and is extremely well run with a high focus on safety, efficient operations and quality client experience. The full team worked well together managing equipment load and unload on the boat. In my experience, it is extremely rare to find a PADI club with all these elements.
Special thanks to Petros who led the instruction. Very good at his job - he made all the course work and exercises fun yet communicated the necessary information the girls needed to develop the right technique. This was particularly important as one of my daughters can get anxious and Petros patiently coached her to success.
Easily worth using even if it means going out of your way.

Wow! Took my son for a scuba taster. Elena couldn't have been any more helpful and friendly. They offered us snorkel equipment so that we could watch from above. Supplied water, biscuits and cake! Just the best. Thanks to everyone involved it was worth the trip out to find you.

I do not think so. We rented the boat and the pack included skipper and sailor. But you can ask just in case.

yes we have some activities for children like canoeing, snorkeling, scubadiving from 8 years old, waterskiing, stand up paddle ... do not hesitate to contact us for more information .
