Every Saturday this street is converted into a wondrous array of genuine local produce. Very good honey from Anopolis: 10 kilos of the sweetest tastiest oranges ever grown for 2 euros....and whole wealth of other things.

The Saturday farmers market in Chania extends for several blocks and offers visitors a wide variety of locally produced fruits and vegetables. The quality is high and it's amazing how many different items are produced on Crete. It's fun to browse and to buy.
