    The best
We had the absolute best time hanging out and taking in all the history and memorabilia with Flekkas today. He was so kind and also gave us great tips for other spots on the island to check out. 15/10 would recommend.

    An absolute gem, must visit
What an interesting museum. Amazing owner with so much knowledge who was most welcoming. Lots of shirts, not just Greek, and many photos and videos. I recon the city authorities should provide a larger area for this great collection. Just a final comment: Come on you Bees! (Brentford FC - We are Premier League)

    A great find
When researching things to do in chania we found this. Whether you love football or not it’s well worth a visit. Free to enter (with voluntary donation) it’s simply one man’s massive collection of shirts and memorabilia. Mostly Greece of course but some extraordinary others. Maradona, Pele, Emile Heskey, (bet you never thought you’d read a sentence with those 3 together !!) and many others. The owner is so passionate and knowledgeable on his subject. It’s infectious. Obviously the Greeks astonishing success at Euro2004 features and the ticket stubs and shirts from this event are clearly his proudest items. It will take a maximum of 30 minutes out of your day and you should go.

    Unreal Dream
As a passionate Greek football fan, what Niko has collected over the years is unbelievable. He is so knowledgeable with every shirt and memorabilia he has. I was in his museum for hours and every tourist from around the world that came in he greeted he was always able to find a shirt that was relatable to them. I was never able to witness the 2004 Euros as I was far too young but this experience made me feel like I was living in the moment and part of its history. This is must visit if you’re travelling to Chania, the levendi Niko has put so much life and time into this piece of history that must be appreciated by all. I will never forget this experience for the rest of my life.

Must see, especiall for football / sports fans
Lovely museum with friendly & passionate staff. Lots of football memorabilia from the Greek National Team including shirts and balls and other football memorabilia, some of which are signed by player / team. Also includes some football shirts from world wide famous players past and present. There is also an opportunity to have your photo taken with the replica UEFA Euro trophy which Greece won in 2004. Well worth a visit, especially if you are a football / sports fan.

    Definitely worth a visit.
A brilliant, free museum. (There's a donation box at the exit.) The owner is so knowledgeable and has probably forgotten more about football than the average football fan knows. A true work of dedication and enthusiasm and well worth an hour of your time in Chania.

    Football is life!
Fantastic! If you’re anywhere in Crete - go. Nikos knows everything about Greek football and he’s got some wonderful shirts, shorts and boots… and the original Euros trophy. He’s a lovely guy, it’s a lovely place, why wouldn’t you go? Plus he said we were the first Wolves fans he’d had in there in ages so get yourselves in there me babbies!

    Great little football museum
For such a small museum they have an amazing amount of memorabilia, artefacts and especially shirts. It shows a good history of Greek football, particularly the success in the Euros. The young man working there gave us a brief but concise history of the Greek national team, and the key items on show. Excellent little museum but deserving of bigger premises.

Must see for the futbol lover!
An unassuming space nestled in Old Town Chania. The memorabilia here is one of a kind. They have over 3500 original pieces and the owner will happily go over all of the highlights with you. We enjoyed our time and love that we could just pop in off the street. If you love football (soccer), you have to see this place!

If you come to Chania, this place is a must! Amazing stories with many treasures for a football fan. Dimitris was really nice to explain us everything about the museum. Even they have the Eurocup won by Greece on 2004.
Free entrance but we were more than happy to give tips. Congratulations for your amazing job. Want to come back again! 😄

An absolute highlight of the whole trip. We called in after reading great reviews, and were greeted warmly by Nikos who was so knowledgeable about our two teams, Liverpool and Burnley.
The amount of memorabilia was staggering, and it came with the knowledge of dates and results to back it up.
The museum holds some real treasures, and I'd recommend a visit whether you consider yourself a football fan or not - it's so interesting and just being able to see some of those shirts and trophies in person is worth the trip!

A real hidden gem in Chania old town. The amount of memorabilia is unbelievable and the knowledge of the owner is staggering every piece has a story behind it. His knowledge of world football through the last 50+ years is incredible. Free to enter and very welcoming. A small tips box which we were more than happy to add to based on our experience. One of the main highlights of our holiday.

Chania is really interesting. If ancient and bustling is your jam, Chania is the place. It is very busy with tourists yet also beautiful in its antiquity. Make dinner reservations at Tamans. It’s also hot. Recommend the “family” beach for an escape!

The owner was so lovely and gave us a full informative factual tour of his football memorabilia in the museum. We were impressed that he had signed Brighton & Hove albion women's players' shirts. It's a small museum but packed full of historic football treasures.

fantastic experience! The owner is very nice and knows an incredible amount about football, the players, matches, European Championships, World Cups. The children were allowed to wear the original shirts of Ronaldinho, Messi etc and hold the European Cup. We saw original shirts from Platini, Cruijff, Maradona, Pele and many more. You don't get this anywhere else. therefore, Must-go for football fans !!!
