The tour was a low season and not many tourist at the all the sites on Nov 20, 23. Spyros did an excellent job of showing us around the area. He took us to the olive oil manufacturing, the wind mills, the Zeus cave then lunch/snacks. The lunch was perfect homemade meals with breads, salads, beans, olive, cheese and Spanakopita ect.. A lot of food. Then we went to strawberry picking and also tasted local Greek yogurt and honey. He is Very knowledgeable and friendly. Provided an excellent experience and would definitely work with him again.

The best day of our vacation!
This was a great tour, with an excellent guide.
Marina had a real passion for the history of Heraklion and was able to answer all questions. Very well planned and organized tour, in few hours we visited the most highlights of the city. Archaeological Museum of Heraklion was the top of the tour,really worth it.
Highly recommend this tour with Marina!

We were on a 13 days Mediterranean Cruise with a stop in Crete. Our tour guide Spyros is the best. He was already waiting for us at the port. He gave us water and pastries the moment we enter the van. He made us feel like we are family. The whole tour was amazing. We did not want it to end. We visited traditional cafeteria in Lasithi and had traditional coffee and cookies made by elderly woman. We felt like we were Cretan that day. It was so amazing. Spyros took care of us so well. Thank you Spyros. I wish all guides are like you. Or at least have a fraction of your hospitality. This is the best tour we had. Well done Spyros.

This tour was the best part of our trip to Heraklion last month to celebrate my birthday! Our tour with Spyros has been amazing. He was an excellent multitasked driver/ tour guide for this tour. We were amazed by our stopover at the local Olive Oil press and enjoyed learning how to process and tasting their finest olive oil! We loved our local Cretan food cooking lessons and obviously eating them too at one local taverna on top of the hill with overlooking view. Our tummies were very full and enjoyed a lot a few shots of Raki. We then concluded the trip with a coffee stopover at a local village with one of the longest-running coffee shop in Crete and have met amazing people in this trip. Each place we visited made us feel home and well-taken cared. This trip felt really like a very personal tour and will always be one of our favourites! More power and all the best for your Spyros and your team!

Wow..what a great tour this was.
Spyros was our driver/guide and made this trip most memorable.
He was very caring,knowledgeable and attentive to our needs.
The places he took us too,the lovely little coffee shop with family history,picking fruit along the way plus all the inclusive attractions on the tour.
He arranged a birthday cake at our lunch spot for one of us..wonderful.
I can highly recommend this tour and I hope that if you do it you get Spyros as your guide.

In August of 2023, we booked 3 days of tours on Crete in the Heraklion area. Just the two of us with our guide/driver, Spyros. We spent the first day seeing the sites while walking through Heraklion, with emphasis on the Harbour and the Rocca a Mare Fortress and the outdoor shopping areas of the town itself. Spyros treated us to a real Gyro as we looked out over the Lion Fountain.
The second day was the Knossos Palace and the Archaelogical Museum. Walking through the reconstruction of the Palace gives one such insight into the flourishing Minoan period. Our guide that day for both stops was extremely knowledgeable in early Greek civilization. We enjoyed the museum so much we visited it again on an extra day we’d built into our visit. It truly was fascinating
The last day was particularly special. Spyros picked us up in their very comfortable van and drove us up to the Lasithi Plateau and it’s villages. Here we learned about the bread basket of Crete where an abundance of produce is grown and had the opportunity to stop in a couple of small villages. And it’s here that you really get a feel for the country. We ambled through the winding streets and (via our guide) chatted with an older resident who told tales of the German occupation. As we walked on we shared coffee and Raki at a landmark cafe run for many years by an elderly woman. When the matriarch isn’t able to open the diner (because she’s caring for her 94 year old husband) locals open up for her and pay on the honor system. Spyros’ knowledge of the people in the town is what made this tour stand apart from other tours, it’s the real deal.

Mike is an entertaining and knowledgeable guide. The mini bus comfortable, cool and clean. The arrangements were easy to make and the trip ran on time. The olive press tour is interesting and informative. The windmills and plateau a visual contrast to the beach and popular town areas. The food preparation engrossing and the many dishes we ate were fabulous and delicious. We enjoyed learning about the ingredients, recipes, preparation and cooking methods. We stopped in a beautiful town square on the way back. Thank you so much for a fantastic trip.

We did a day tour, Spyros our guide was absolutely amazing!
We went as a family of 3 kids (different ages) and one tired mom. Spyros managed to get everyone interested and engaged.
The whole tour was well planned but flexible in regard to our needs, the sights were beautiful, our first time of seeing "the real crete", its nature and people.
Also - there wasn't a question Spyros couldn't answer, about anything.
Spyros - your tour made us want to come again in the winter!
We went as a family of 3 kids (different ages) and one tired mom. Spyros managed to get everyone interested and engaged.

Our tour with Spyros was the highlight of our trip! From coffee in the quaint Greek village, tour of the Olive Oil factory, donkey ride to Zeus’s cave, shopping and amazing food it was perfect down to every last detail. Spyros made us feel welcome and comfortable immediately and was a wealth of information. Our 17 year old son was also with us and Spyros made the trip enjoyable for him also! We would highly recommend this experience.
