This is a nice island. You can make a hike of 18 km across the island but you won't have time to walk it all. When we were there it was very warm. If the weather is nice but a lot of wind the boats don't sail. This excursion is just a sunbathing/swimming trip. Be prepared with suntan, drinks (frozen... More

Very beautiful Island. Sandy beaches everywhere with white, and ultra-white sand. Beautiful, clean see water. Could be windy. Absolutelly I recomend going there. Ferry is for 25 Euro per adult. 12,5 Euro per child. In July it is very hot - be prepared - take sun umbrella and a lot of drink water. Staff on the ferry is offering ice-cold... More

The island itself is very beautiful, white sand, amazing cedar trees, incredible views, amazingly clear water where you can see beautiful and colorful fish. It wasn't very crowded, which is a big plus. It's protected by UNESCO and you can only visit it three times a week. There are rocks in the water, but it being so clear, it's not... More

Nice relaxing place to spend ur day with family. Enjoy the beach and a walk around the island. Due to the expensive tickets one time visit is all you would do. So go early and stay on the island for a good few hrs. Last ferry to the island leaves around 12noon. And returns at 5-5:30pm. Island has a canteen.... More

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. Sunny beach, crystal clear water and lots of cedar trees. It is about 1 hour by boat from Ierapetra. Ideal for a daily visit.

The best day of our trip to Crete, was the day we sailed to Chrissi island. The feeling is surreal - like you have been transferred to a tropical island. The real scenic views are the ones located in the northern part of the island, once you get there (after a short 7 minute walk), the clear light blue waters... More

Really the best exotic island in Europe. Cedar trees are covering the most of the island. If you are looking for something unique, be there.

A bit touristic, but wonderful colors! (and not expensive beers :) ) Many daily ferry leaving from Ierapetra during high season. The place gets crowded during the day, so better choose the early ones to get the best spots (either under the centenary trees or sun beds).
