    Gorgeous
Was recommended this beach from a local. It is tucked away down a little drive in a small bay. It’s not a very big beach but as we were just out of season it wasn’t too busy but can imagine it is very popular in main season. Lots of locals which is always a good sign. The beach is pebbled so would recommend beach shoes. There are lounges and parasol to rent and 2 loungers and 1 umbrella cost €7 but you could upgrade to wooden lounges or even a cabana. The water is Cristal clear and goes deep quite quickly but beautiful. There are cliffs to jump off that many people were doing and i would recommend taking a snorkel. There is a taverna on the beach that serves drinks, snacks, meals and seafood and at very reasonable price. The guy in charge of sun beds etc is very efficient and friendly and will bring drinks to you at your lounger. Toilets available but not the best but at least they have some. Would recommend getting here early as parking will be difficult. We went at 10.30 but by midday it was difficult for people to get. Space and have to park up road which makes it difficult to pass.

A beautiful, spotlessly clean beach with crystal clear water.
A beautiful beach - edged by stunning cliffs with crystal clear and clean water rolling onto a spotlessly clean shingle beach. Well spaced sun beds and umbrellas which are good value for the day. Friendly staff who all speak English and will bring you drinks and or food to you from the very good taverna on site if you prefer not to eat in there. Plenty of parking and just 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Panormos

    Our favourite
Awesome setting, lovely water, sufficient and affordable food choice for a light lunch. This for us was the best beach during our trip to Crete. Not a sandy beach, but then again that is a small sacrifice for the lovely location and water.

The whole beach is under the siege of the old man who runs the taverns. My friends and I laid our towels near the rock on the left side and the staff started aggressively tossing sunbeds around us to drive us away. The manager came around to tell us that he could kick us out if he wanted to, even though it's a public beach. It's not well maintained either - there's tons of trash in the water and nobody seems to care. Quite the unpleasant experience.

I discovered this beach during my first stay in rethymno 6 years ago by a friendly lady that owned the place we were renting. It’s a hidden gem, a slice of heaven, a little dream enclave of rock and beautiful blue waters. It’s a pebble beach, and I often find myself digging around for hours in search of the prettiest one. There is a cave you can swim through on calm ocean days, and it is surrounded by cliffs that some people jump Off, and the snorkelling is amazing. The beach is run by a couple, Costa and his beautiful kind superchef wife Yvonne . They also have a taverna on the beach. Yvonna is the type of cook that buys small amounts of food daily to ensure the utmost freshness, and her food never disappoints. The service is amazing and it’s a warm inviting place. Very reasonable prices. It’s off the highway and it’s a short drive down a paved road, you are not sure what your going to see as you drive down, but once you arrive your left with a jaw dropping sight. This place is a must see. 5 stars.

Beach looks good but sea was dirty and we didn’t feel comfortable to dive in more then once. Sun beds and umbrellas are ok, there is an option for tents. There is a bar on the beach with not big choice of drinks. Also restaurant that only serves sandwiches. There is a shower that you must pay to use.

Really rocky beach (no way to walk without shoes) and hard to aproach with children as the water bed gets abrut as soon as you enter. The waves were also pretty high the day we visites. If this beach has a 4.5 stars rating, I wonder how much would a sandy, shallow, quite beach get then?

A great beach for people who hate sand. I am indeed one of those people and i can say it is a must visit. The beach is also dog friendly. The only downside is that there are so many tides and i once got thrown onto un umbrella and folded in half 😅. But aside my bad experience, it is still a must visit.

You could ask about information at Corali beach. Mr. Manolis was all the time at our disposal for any further information....
The tour on the caves was amazing.
